Attraction Experience Kiosk and Prop Design
Storied Paths is an informational bike tour around the Island of Mackinac that spotlights the rich history of the land.
Guests will be immersed in the beauty of nature and will and uncover the rich history the island holds. They will be able to choose between a self-guided tour so they can explore at their own pace, or a tour hosted by a guide.
This daytime adventure around the island will point out historic monuments like the Grand Hotel and Fort Mackinac. Guests will be provided with an abundance of knowledge about the island.
Guests will gain a new understanding for the island and will leave with a sense of newfound knowledge and a connection to the past.
Storied Paths will take guests on a tour of the past so that they have a better understanding on how to create a brighter future.

The Process
The kiosk was designed to complement the Victorian architecture found throughout Mackinac Island. My goal was to incorporate a custom wallpaper pattern and bicycle motifs into the design, along with integrated signage for Schwinn, the attraction’s sponsor, so the kiosk feels cohesive with its surroundings while clearly supporting the brand.
