The Bloodstained Frontier
Class-Wide Theme Park Development
The Wild West. With Monsters.
Welcome to The Bloodstained Frontier, a crossroad of frontier camps and crooked towns — all ensnared in the same monstrous nightmare.
Your journey begins at the Railroad Station, where the final silver spike drove deeper than the moguls ever intended. The blood moon rises over slanted saloons, silver-soaked streets, and canyon trails where hunters trade stories no one dares to repeat. Folks whisper that the Hollow King's curse still grips the land, his presence lingering in the shadows, creeping closer with each passing night. And once darkness claims the crossroads, every tale you've heard becomes real.
Spread across 20 acres, this PG-13 horror/action theme park features five distinct lands and six attractions, including thrill rides, live entertainment, retail, dining and an interactive experience, that together draw guests deeper into the Frontier.
This unique blend of immersive storytelling, adrenaline-pumping thrills, and supernatural spectacle offers a fresh and unforgettable theme park experience that appeals to teens and adults.
So grab your courage, stranger-you're gonna need it.
Interior Moldboards
As part of this large, collaborative class project, I worked on signage and moldboards for interior spaces such as restaurants, shops, and attractions. I found it especially rewarding to dive into research to define the look and feel of each space, then translate those concepts into graphics that aligned with and reinforced each location’s distinct style and identity.
Employee Costumes
I also had the opportunity to design costumes for this project, which allowed me to explore character and storytelling alongside the environment. Working on costume design while refining my illustration skills was especially rewarding, as it pushed me to think about form, function, and wearability at the same time. I drew inspiration from historical Western and Victorian-era references, reinterpreting them with a modern approach so the final designs feel contemporary, practical, and comfortable enough for everyday employees to wear while still supporting the overall theme.
